\nRhythm of Life _2

This artwork represents people’s life and up and down of life rhythm and unpredictable power to change each person’s life. The combination of the color represents that whatever the life is, all the person’s life is beautiful.<\/p>\n

The waveform part is made by coiling embroidery threads on paper boards. On it’s surface, the silk embroidery threads are stretched around by hooking on grooved acrylic plates.<\/p>\n

I think it was 2001, when I saw Tatsuo Miyajima’s “Mega Death”, a huge artwork made up of countless digital counters that count down to 10 to 1, I thought I also wanted to represent someone’s life in my artwork. However, the theme was out of my control at that time, and even I wasn’t an contemporary artist yet, so it was just in the corner of my memory.
\nAnd after a long time, this new series was born by combining my techniques so far.
\nThere are various points I want to improve and new things I want to try, but I want to continue making this series.
