Exhibiting one artwork at “imagine -tomorrow-“

I’m going to join a group show “imagine -tomorrow-” held by two art galleries in Ishikawacho, Yokohama.
My artwork “Parallel World” is exhibited at gallery fu.

IMAGINE

What have you been imagining lately? Not daydreams or delusions , but rather, serious contemplation of our current reality and fostering an independent vision for what the future holds.

galley fu and LAUNCH PAD GALLERY proudly present this joint exhibition featuring more than 20 artists who share their visions of the “future” based on various themes such as Life, Nature, Politics, Society and the Environment. By utilising their unique sharpened sensibilities to gaze upon today’s realities we aim to create an environment for the viewer to delve into the artists imaginations.

Of course, we hope this stimulates your own imagination as well by feeling the messages the artists put into their work. This may lead you to feelings of despair or hope, awaken a call to action or indifference. Either way we should never relinquish the freedom and importance of each individuals ability to imagine.

Date: 1st Dec (Tue) – 13th Dec (Sun), 2015 12:00-20:00 (12:00-18:00 on Sunday, closed on Monday)

title: “Parallel World”
concept:
We generate our own environment. We get exactly what we deserve.
–from “ONE” by Richard Bach
Is this a world we really desire? Is there any ideal world somewhere else? What do we do there? What kind of scenery can we see there?
